Crock Pot Ginger Salmon & Pecans POT GINGER SALMON & PECANS

This is for two 1 lb or so Fresh Salmon Filets


  • 1/2 c Maple Syrup
  • 1/8 c lime juice
  • 1/4 c Soy Sauce
  • 2 T Minced Garlic
  • 2 tsp Ginger spice or fresh ground Ginger

Mix all these ingredients for your glaze

Place the filets in your Crock Pot. If you need to make more I'd suggest one of the larger pots. I made mine for two people and the average crock works. Place them side by side, stacking them does not work so good. Salt and pepper.

Pour glaze over top of filets.

Cook for one hour.

Now for the topping...

This is optional if you want a healthier dish serve Salmon right out of the crock pot as it is, it will still be delicious.


I don't have exact measurements I've made this topping for so many things I go by how it looks. So melt some butter, maybe 3/4 stick, add around a cup of pecans, 3TB brown sugar (or more depending on your taste) and just enough flour give it some body, 1/4 cup would probably do. It should look like this.


After Salmon is done, lift it out of the pot very very VERY gently. I place mine on my toaster oven tray covered with foil, but can also use oven broiler. Spoon on the topping, pop in the oven and broil until slightly bubbly and looks toasted.

Ready to serve!! You are not going to believe how good this is. If you're needed a special dinner for a special night.. this is a winner!! My man LOVES IT!!
